The DOJ opposes Net Neutrality

For today's reading, I refer you to an article I wrote for Human Events about the recent demise (or at least temporary caging) of the movement for "Net Neutrality" which in fact is anything but neutral toward free markets and liberty:

The Justice Department vs. 'Net Neutrality'
by Ross Kaminsky, Human Events, 9/11/07

(Per my agreement with Human Events, articles which I write for them must be posted exclusively on their site, which is why I'm giving you the link rather than the article text.)

Oh my Ross, how can you be so "unfair"?
Everyone should be able to drive an M5 or no one should. We all should be granted a standard serviceable bandwidth, car, home, physician etc. by our government (the entity from which all good things flow), until such time as our endeavors have universally raised the living standard so that all may enjoy a new universal higher standard in goods and services.
Of course which areas of improvement to grant those higher standards will be decided by a government appointed committee of "experts" who know what is best for us.
