Above his pay grade

On Saturday, at the Saddleback Church event, both Barack Obama and John McCain were asked when a baby gets human rights. McCain answered rapidly: "At conception". Obama gave one of the worst answers of his campaign...and I say this as someone who's pro-choice: "...whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, uh, you know, is, is, uh, above my pay grade." It makes you wonder just what job Obama thinks he's applying for. "Above my pay grade"?!?! What else is above his pay grade? Uh, uh, uh....everything that a President has to do other than make the occasional pretty speech...written by someone else? Every time Obama speaks away from a teleprompter or prepared speech, he digs himself further into the hole of showing voters his inexperience, his lack of wisdom, and his being simply another far-left politician willing to say anything (and nothing) to win. Expect "above my pay grade" to be featured prominently in anti-Obama ads in coming months. I suppose the real answer is that such questions are above his deserved pay grade. Voters will come to realize that even more clearly than it's dawning on them now, and despite poll numbers when voters have to check that box or pull that lever, not enough will vote for "change" if that change is so completely free of substance and leadership to allow us to be saddled with the second coming of Jimmy Carter.
