On Monday as I visited the Colorado State Capitol in Denver to witness the spectacle of Democrats pretending to care about testimony regarding their raft of anti-gun rights bills, I had the opportunity to meet two remarkable young women.
Kim Weeks (from Colorado) and Amanda Collins (from Nevada) were each victims of rapists who believe that their a gun would have made a difference. The man who attacked Amanda went on to rape another woman, and then rape and murder a third.
I had the opportunity to help each of them get a little bit of time on Denver radio on Monday, and I offer for your edification their interviews. Please share widely, as anyone with the courage to tell a story this difficult should have their friends, even friends like my readers whom they will never meet, try to magnify the influence of any positive impact which can come from the horrible crimes committed against them.
