When even the L.A. Times starts reporting on government expenditures which appear to be the direction of millions (or hundreds of millions) of taxpayer dollars to companies in bed with Democrat donors, you know that such corruption is a story not going away anytime soon.
This it is with Saturday's article (I know it's date says Sunday, but I promise you I read it on Saturday) entitled "Cost, need questioned in $433-million smallpox drug deal which explains that "a company controlled by a longtime [Democratic] political donor gets a no-bid contract to supply an experimental remedy for a threat that may not exist."
The story reads like a pharmaceutical version of Solyndra. If you're angry at the behavior of the Obama administration, this will make you angrier. If you're not already angry at our government, then you're probably the president of a public sector union or a radical environmentalist group, and thus beyond reasoning with.
