I'll have the privilege of sitting in for Michael Brown on Newsradio 850 KOA tonight (Thursday, May 12) from 7 PM to 10 PM Mountain Time.
We'll have a lively discussion -- as Michael always does -- on the topics of the day and week. I particularly want to talk about immigration, including Obama's speech on that topic on Tuesday as well as the lesson's I've learned from the comments to my American Spectator article on Wednesday. Let's just say I think any sort of legislation is all but impossible.
My guests will include:
Col. John Carney, President and CEO of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.
Congressman Jared Polis (Democrat from Boulder) to discuss the federal budget, immigration, and more. Look for some interesting questions as listeners have the chance to speak to a Democrat congressman, and please keep those questions polite!
And for the show's third hour, Yaron Brook (Facebook page here), President of the Ayn Rand Institute, to give us a much different perspective from Jared Polis' views on some of the same key issues of our day. As an Israeli, I'll also be looking forward to Yaron's views on the implications of the death of Osama bin Laden for the Middle East.
Please listen in and don't be shy about joining the conversation by calling the studio at 303 713 8585 -- not that KOA is usually short on callers with opinions.
Out-of-towners can listen online via the "Listen Live" link at the top left of the KOA web page:
